Ruby Tuesday - The Basilica of St. Mary's

They say the imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. With that in mind after seeing Dianne's submition for Ruby Tuesday of a Greek Orthodox Church, I remembered a shot I have of the Basilica of St. Mary's in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I hope you enjoy it. Be sure to visit Ruby Tuesday to see all the other fabulous places that people find red in their world.

Dianne is always such great inspiration. Welcome to Ruby Tuesdays...I'm pretty new too. How lucky for you to have such a great shot in your archives ;)

Gorgeous. I can't help but want to keep looking up and see what the dome of the basilica looks like.

I'm glad I could inspire :)
you have inspired me many times

Beautiful touches of red in an amazing church

I'm so glad you joined in!!

Shelly - Isn't she just though. :) And thank you!

Haley - Thanks! I do have a couple of pics of the dome, but they're a bit blurry. :(

Dianne - Just being in that place has always made me feel serene, even at my dad's funeral. (He went there as a kid. Can you believe living next door to that? And they didn't exactly live in the ritzy part of town. lol

Very pretty... now I feel guilty. I've skipped mass several weeks in a row.

aah, that is just beautiful!

Marilyn - Isn't guilt a requirement in the Catholic Church? ;)

Karin - Thanks so much!
