Happy Ruby Tuesday!

I have to admit it. I've been falling down on the job. I hit the wall just in time for Christmas, so I haven't been able visit all my favorite blogs in a while. I'm almost back in form, just in time for Ruby Tuesday, hosted by Work of the Poet. And for the last Tuesday of 2009, I thought that I'd share my last creative endeavor, my gingerbread cookies. What do you give the person who has everything? Food! These were a big hit. Happy New Year!

Very cute, I especially like that wee moustache, tie and collar:) I'm also serving gingerbread this Ruby Tuesday, though in a soft cake shape - a sweet treat is always a perfect round off not only to a meal but to a year, happy new year from Sweden!

Those are great looking, especially Mrs. Claus.

I didn't know you liked to bake!

these are each so unique and adorable

Happy New Year Lady

Travis: Luckily everyone has to eat. :)

Stacy: They're the perfect holiday food, low in refined sugar and fat (per cookie that is). lol But, I'll admit that kind of goes out the window when they're dipped in chocolate. :)

Elaine: Thanks so much!

Pia: Yeah, the one with the mustache was gift for a guy with one just like it. I was inspired. :) And Happy New Year to you too!

Robin: I had a lot of fun with her, thanks!

Dianne: I don't get much opportunity. Baking for one just isn't as much fun, but I get to play at the holidays. Happy New Year! :)

Thanks for the visit and the kind comment. Cookies of any description get my vote, every time!

Hope you have a great 2009 ....

These gingerbreads are far too stylish to consume. Almost as if each one has a personality all their own. Happy New Year!

Laura: Amazingly, they actually tasted good too! :)

David: Hooray! And a great 2009 too you too!

Ralph: Yes, but that's the entire reason for their existence. There's more where they came from. ;) And Happy New Year to you too!

I love gingerbread cookies, but those are too pretty to eat! Wonderful ;--)

Thanks for visiting Happily Retired Gal yesterday ... I'm playing catch up today.
Hugs and blessings,

Storyteller: I'm glad you like them. :)
