I have one last paper to complete before I graduate ... A paper about love ... not about fancy dresses, limousines, diamond rings (or tiaras), or champagne. (Not that all of those things aren't great.) It's what comes after. This paper is not about a feeling called love; it's the action of love. It's taking out the garbage when you don't feel like it. It's giving weigh even though you know you're probably right because it's important to the person you love. It's about forgiving a person when they hurt your feelings. It's about being kind and not keeping score.
Okay, that's a good start. Just another six pages to go ...

Oh, what great topic for The End! Actually, I think it would be very beneficial if everyone had to stop once in a while to ponder what showing love means. Off to ponder...
I get it...all the good stuff that keeps it lasting until you get to that place where you can look back on the joy of a life together. When people ask you how you managed to stay together so long, and you just look at each other and smile because if someone has to ask, they just won't understand.
Love is accepting the punishment for someone else's sins and suffering the death penalty in their place.
Joy: It seems strangely apt. :)
Travis: Yes, of course, but it also applies to all people, not just one's mate. :)
Quilly: So true, unfortunately I'm not covering that part of 1 Corinthians. I'm doing chapt 13, which has a slightly different focus, but of course, comes from the same event. :)
that is a wonderful start!
everyday love :)
